Our business

We develop and operate clean energy assets throughout Spain and are committed to expanding Spain’s renewable energy capacacity. Currently, we manage around 60 projects in Spain with a total capacity of more than 3 GW.

Through the development and management of clean energy assets, Aquila Clean Energy aims to play a key role in Spain’s energy transition and accelerate the country’s decarbonisation in a sustainable and economically sensible manner.

Aquila Clean Energy has a strong local presence in Spain, with a team of over 50 professionals, believing that local, on-site management teams are key to the company's operations. These teams cover the entire value chain and lifetime of the assets.

In addition to development, construction management, operations, engineering and asset management divisions, Aquila Clean Energy also has a dedicated team of electricity market experts in Spain with in-depth knowledge and local networks, which enables the company to develop the most optimized offtake solutions for the assets, tailored to the Spanish market specific conditions.
